Cascadia Emergency Management, LLC
Based in Snohomish County, Washington Cascadia Emergency Management was established by founder Michael B. Fearnehough in 2016. He served on two regional and one national Incident Management Assistance Teams (IMAT) with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).
A 17 year veteran of emergency management and highly experienced first responder, he recognized a need to support local incidents such as COVID-19 using highly skilled retired First Responders and military veterans.
He also supports the local community by providing emergency disaster training onsite for schools, businesses, churches, and civic groups—desirable skills in preparing for, responding to, and recovering from a disaster.

Professional Background:
Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA)
Served over 14 years with Department of Homeland Security, Federal Emergency Management Agency in both FEMA Region's IX and X, serving the Pacific Northwest, Alaska, West Coast, State of Hawaii, and the Pacific Territories. As a senior member of FEMA, Michael lead teams during major presidentially declared disasters to include Hurricane Katrina and Pacific hurricane response to the Hawaiian Islands.
Law Enforcement
Michael has served as a State Fusion Center Liaison Officer with both Washington State and the State of Hawaii coordinating law enforcement and homeland security intelligence to prevent, prepare for, and respond to acts of terrorism. He is also skilled in safety and security, a graduate of the San Gabriel Valley Law Enforcement Academy.
First Responder
Prior to serving with FEMA he volunteered as Lieutenant Firefighter-EMT with Key Peninsula Fire Department in Pierce County and worked as a career EMT in both Los Angeles, California and in Seattle, Washington. He has over 30 years of experience in pre-hospital care as an Advanced Emergency Medical Technician and taught Emergency Medical Technician program for over 3 years in Los Angeles, California. He has served as a City of Santa Monica Harbor Patrol Officer protecting the citizens and visitors to the historic Santa Monica Pier and beaches in Southern California.
US Coast Guard Auxiliary
He served over 7 years with the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary as a Flotilla Staff Officer in Seattle, Washington.
Office of Emergency Management
In his last public safety position, Michael served as an Operations Coordinator for the Seattle Office of Emergency Management selected from over 250 candidates nationally.
